Dr. ElMallah received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Medical School where he graduate with honors. He attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cardiology from Ain Shams University. He took his residency in Medicine / Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland followed by a fellowship in Cardiology at Case Western Reserve University, and a subspecialty fellowship in adult congenital heart disease at the Cleveland Clinic. He continued to pursue fellowships in interventional Cardiology and structural interventional at the University of Kentucky Gill Heart institute.
Dr. Wael ElMallah is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Medicine at Texas Tech Paul L Foster School of Medicine, where he serves as Director of Structural Intervention and associate program director of the cardiology fellowship.
Dr ElMallah Special interest is in advancing cardiovascular interventional with particular emphasis on structural interventional and adult congenital heart disease.
